Foundation materials
✔ Fosshape approx 0.5m (recommended thickness 400 but 300 weight is suitable)
✔ Leather (thin sheepskin, approx. 0.5mm thickness) in your colour of choice
✔ Standard cotton covered millinery wire
✔ Petersham ribbon / grosgrain ribbon (approx. 0.5cm)
✔ Hat Elastic (with or without prongs)
✔ Comb (optional / if preferred attachment method)
✔ Thin wadding (with stretch)
Adhesives / finishing
✔ Clear fast drying craft glue
✔ Masking tape
Stiffener materials (optional)
✔ PVA wood glue 100-200ml
✔ water
✔ quality paint brush
✔ airtight container (jar, screw top plastic container etc)

✔ sewing needles suitable for hand stitching (straw needles)
